November 16, 2011 in St. Petersburg, passed a law against the promotion of homosexuality, which added a number of incidents of discrimination against gays and lesbians, such as criminal prosecution, invasion of privacy, etc. The law is theoretically not denied the rights and freedom of the individual, but practically has open and legitimate calls for violence. According to the statistics in Russia 27% of gay men and lesbians are subjected to physical violence because of their sexual orientation.
The goal of project is to investigate the causes of aggressive behavior by homophobes. The expected result - a way to change the situation.
